Job summary

HII Mission Technologies seeks a Software Engineer to support Navy software modernization and integration within NIWC Pacific. The role offers a Hybrid schedule (typically 1–2 days onsite per week) and involves developing in C# and Angular for distributed Navy systems.

You will collaborate with government engineers and cross‑functional teams to design, build, and test features, implement secure coding practices, and contribute to documentation and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 6 years with HS diploma.
• Experience developing front-end components using Angular 10+ or similar TS framework.
• Strong OO programming concepts and modern software engineering practices.
• Active DoD SECRET clearance to start.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using C#.
• Implement front-end features with Angular 10+.
• Support NIWC Pacific software modernization and integration.
• Troubleshoot and debug in mission‑critical environments.
• Follow secure coding, version control, and CM standards.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborative development.
• Support integration to ensure interoperability across Navy systems.
• Develop technical documentation and user-facing materials.
• Contribute to testing events, demos, and reviews with NIWC Pacific and HII.
