Job summary

Tokio Marine North America Services seeks an Applications Developer to join our team in Bala Cynwyd, PA. You will participate in customization, development, enhancement and maintenance of enterprise applications using .NET and React stacks, providing technical analysis, unit testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 2+ years of Microsoft stack experience, familiarity with React/TypeScript, SQL and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred (preferably in Computer Science or related field)
• 2+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Microsoft stack technologies
• Experience with React, TypeScript is a plus
• Experience with SQL
• Azure Cloud development experience is a plus
• Experience providing technical support for resolutions
• Experience with source code repositories
• Git experience is preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access)
• Knowledge of SDLC and software support and maintenance approaches (Scrum and Waterfall)
• Knowledge of Unit testing frameworks
• Knowledge of deployment automation tools and DevOps practices
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal relationship building
• Ability to learn modern technologies
• Ability to juggle deadlines and work independently

Responsibilities

• Participates in customization, development, enhancement and maintenance of applications
• Assists in design, coding, testing, debugging and implementation phases
• Provide technical support for bug fixes and maintenance
• Review business requirements for technical analysis and estimates
• Standardize QA procedures for software
• Estimate timelines with business teams for enhancements
• Contribute to PoCs when required
• Contribute to DevOps and automation for delivery
• Ensure unit testing and code quality
• Collaborate with architecture, BA and QA teams
• Research and evaluate potential solutions considering constraints
• Participate in ongoing operational support and maintenance
• Align with SDLC processes and standards
