Job summary

MONO is seeking a Creative Writer to craft copy across social, video, and traditional campaigns. You’ll partner with art directors, designers, and strategists to develop bold ideas and execute them with impactful writing.

You’ll adapt tone per platform, maintain a strong portfolio, and stay attuned to social trends. The role is hybrid, based in Minneapolis, with relocation required for non-local candidates.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of agency copywriting experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating social content execution and ideas.
• Deep familiarity with social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Understanding of how content supports brand building and campaign goals.
• Strong presentation skills, organized, deadline-driven, collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Partner with art directors, designers, and strategists to concept organic and paid social campaigns.
• Adapt writing style to each platform (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
• Create and execute ideas for clients—from ideation to copy and client presentations.
• Assist production by shooting or shaping quick-turn social content as needed.
• Collaborate with Creative Leadership to translate brand objectives into copy and concepts.
• Incorporate feedback with precision and a positive attitude.
