Job summary

MONO is seeking a Creative Art Director in Minneapolis with a social-forward mindset and a strong eye for art direction. You will concept, shoot, edit, and support campaigns across organic and paid social, while maintaining brand integrity and evolving platform trends.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years in art direction or related fields, a robust portfolio, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; Canva and Figma familiarity is a plus. This is a hybrid role with on-site days in Minneapolis.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in art direction, graphic design, or social-first content creation.
• Portfolio showing both concepting and hands‑on social execution.
• Ability to shoot and edit assets to tight timelines.
• Strong understanding of native aesthetics on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; Canva/Figma familiarity.
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking at pace.
• Collaborative, curious, solution‑oriented mindset aligned with MONO values.

Responsibilities

• Partner with copywriters, designers, and strategists to concept social campaigns and traditional work.
• Create and execute innovative ideas from ideation to layouts and client presentations.
• Build shot lists, assist on shoots, and produce social content from lo-fi to high production.
• Shoot and edit quick-turn content when needed using available tools.
• Prepare final design files, resize assets for social channels, maintain brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with Creative Leadership to translate brand objectives into concepts and content.
