Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation is seeking a dedicated professional to drive continued growth by negotiating renewals or selling products and services to existing customers, while understanding their needs and delivering exceptional support.

The role interfaces with customer group representatives or producers and may assist other small group client reps, with accountability for meeting retention goals in a hybrid environment (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

Qualifications

• High school diploma OR GED.
• Must have State Insurance License(s) or obtain State Insurance License(s) within 90 days.
• 2 years customer service experience in a health care or health insurance environment OR college degree.
• PC proficiency or data entry experience.
• Customer Service oriented with skills to evaluate customer situations, make decisions and respond quickly to questions.
• Detail oriented.
• Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and independent decision making skills.
• Analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate renewals or sell products and services to existing customers.
• Understand customer needs and provide excellent customer support.
