Job summary

SynapseTBI in Houston, TX, seeks a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our TBI-focused team in a hybrid clinic and community setting. You will assess and treat patients with TBI, concussion, and related cognitive-communication disorders, developing individualized plans that support recovery and quality of life.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology with an active Texas license and CCC-SLP is preferred.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
Current Texas SLP license required.
CCC-SLP preferred.
Experience with neurological, concussion, or TBI populations preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct speech-language and cognitive-communication evaluations.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapy services to patients recovering from TBI and other neurological conditions.
Document evaluations, sessions, progress notes, and care plans accurately.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
Travel locally to support patient care and community-based services.
Maintain compliance with clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards.
