Dematic is seeking a Simulation Engineer for hubs in Grand Rapids, MI; Atlanta, GA; Plano, TX; or Milwaukee, WI. The role blends on-site collaboration with remote work in a hybrid schedule.

You will build and evaluate simulation models to inform automated material-handling system decisions and deliver practical, high-impact insights. You should have 2-5+ years of experience in simulation, with Python and Plant Simulation proficiency, plus a Bachelor's or Master’s in a technical field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or related field.
• 2–5+ years experience in simulation model development or performance analysis.
• Experience with material-handling systems or automated solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop discrete-event simulation models to evaluate performance of material-handling and automated systems.
• Craft low- to high-fidelity models and conduct performance analysis for pre‑sales and delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and project teams to define requirements and timelines.
• Collect, validate, and analyze data; document model assumptions and specs.
