Job summary

Atlas Sign Industries is seeking an Estimator in Florida to prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial signage projects. Qualifications

• Three to five years of estimating experience, preferably in commercial sign manufacturing or related industries.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, specs, and sign schedules.
• Experience with cost components: materials, labor, fabrication, electrical, freight, subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and bid packages to define project scope and requirements.
• Prepare detailed estimates for interior and exterior signage, channel letters, and related systems.
• Calculate costs for materials, labor, finishing, electrical components, and installation.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Project Management on feasibility and lead times.
• Obtain pricing from vendors and subcontractors to support bids.
• Maintain pricing data and participate in bid reviews and handoffs.
• Prepare pricing for change orders and value-engineering options.
