Job summary

Princess Cruises in Miami, FL seeks an experienced Ship Superintendent for a hybrid role based out of our Miami office. You will provide timely technical support to vessels, manage repair budgets, oversee technical purchases, and coordinate dry-dock and wet-dock projects while working with Fleet Technical Operations and other departments to ensure compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of licensed experience afloat, preferably as a second engineer or senior electrician on AC

Qualifications

• Maritime engineering license with Second Engineer or Senior Electrician title on AC Diesel-Electric propulsion vessels.
• Strong ability to manage vessel maintenance programs from shoreside.
• Proven project management and data analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vessel technical repair and maintenance activities and document results.
• Plan and coordinate dry-dock and wet-dock renovations with vendor teams.
• Manage technical maintenance budget and capital projects with finance and supply chain.
• Review third-party surveys and implement corrective actions within timelines and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with Class Society and Flag State regulations and update management.
• Communicate technical needs across shipboard and shoreside teams.
