Job summary

Direct Online Marketing in Pittsburgh seeks an SEO & AI Strategist to lead SEO and GEO strategies for diverse clients, including international accounts. You will drive keyword research, technical audits, analytics, and AI-enabled optimization, collaborating with clients to align on KPIs and growth goals.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in SEO, strong analytical skills, and experience with SEMrush/GA4. A Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field is preferred and working in a hybrid agency

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in SEO, including technical optimization and performance analysis.
• Strong curiosity about emerging AI search trends and ability to test ideas rapidly.
• Proven ability to forecast, analyze, and report on organic search performance.
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools: SEMrush, GA4, Google Search Console.
• Experience using WordPress, HubSpot, or Shopify is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing well-planned SEO and GEO strategies for a variety of clients, including international and challenging accounts.
• Proactively refining strategies based on KPI performance and client goals.
• Conducting keyword research, mapping, and optimization to create a clear keyword strategy.
• Performing technical SEO audits and troubleshooting advanced technical issues.
• Setting up keyword position tracking and other performance monitoring tools.
• Collaborating with clients during onboarding and campaigns to align on KPIs.
• Conducting competitor analysis to understand market trends and opportunities.
• Designing experiments to improve organic search performance across tactics and AI engines.
• Auditing and crafting insightful reports with narratives aligned to client goals.
• Completing regular business reviews to highlight organic search results and adjust strategies as needed.
• Communicating professionally with clients to build strong relationships.
• Contributing to sales audits and ensuring quality assurance in your work and others.
• Actively questioning why results occurred and how your work impacts client success.
