Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead water/wastewater projects within the Industrial Business unit. You will act as the main point of contact for planning and design of water, water reuse, and wastewater projects across the U.S., with hybrid work and occasional relocation to various industrial offices.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree, 10 years of related experience, and relevant certifications (PMP/CCM/DBIA).

Qualifications

• Must have PMP/CCM/DBIA certification or be within 12 months of hire to be placed on the Approved Project Manager list.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; frequency depends on duties and workload.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Managing and serving as the lead Project Manager on water/wastewater projects
• Providing technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentoring engineering staff to enhance water/wastewater design capabilities
• Responsible for scope, schedule, budget development, monitoring and adherence for projects managed
• Quality Assurance/Quality Control of key deliverables and assisting on projects managed by others in the office
• Assisting Client Service Leaders with technical marketing for clients throughout the U.S.
• Participating in professional societies relevant to the industry
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with key decision makers in clients’ organizations
