Job summary

CDM Smith currently has a Senior Project Manager opportunity in our Industrial Business unit to lead planning, design, and delivery of water, water reuse, and wastewater projects across the United States. You will serve as the main contact for project planning and design and will assist with business development activities throughout the U.S.

This hybrid role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of related experience, with PMP/CCM/DBIA certification within 12 months.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.
10 years of related experience.
PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list).
Domestic and/or international travel may be required; frequency depends on duties and workload.

Responsibilities

Manage and serve as the lead Project Manager on water/wastewater projects.
Provide technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentoring engineering staff to enhance water/wastewater design capabilities.
Be responsible for scope, schedule, budget development, monitoring and adherence for projects managed.
Complete QA/QC of key deliverables and assist on projects managed by others in the office.
Assist Client Service Leaders with technical marketing for clients across the U.S.
Participate in professional societies relevant to the industry.
Build and maintain positive relationships with key decision makers in client organizations.
