Job summary

CDM Smith, a leading engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead water/wastewater projects within our Industrial Business unit across the United States. You will manage planning and design for water, water reuse, and wastewater initiatives and contribute to business development activities nationwide.

The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of two days in the office, with potential placement at multiple Industrial offices across the U.S.; travel up to 10% or less.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 10 years of related experience.
• Certification: PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA required within 12 months of hire or promotion.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; frequency depends on duties.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead Project Manager on water/wastewater projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineering staff.
• Own scope, schedule, and budget development and monitoring for assigned projects.
• Perform QA/QC of key deliverables and assist on projects led by others.
• Support client service leaders with technical marketing across the U.S.
• Participate in professional societies relevant to the industry.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with key client decision makers.

PMP/CCM/DBIA Certification within 12 months
