Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects within the Industrial Business unit. You will coordinate planning, design, and delivery for diverse clients across the U.S., serving as the primary contact and mentor to engineering staff.

The role is hybrid with two days in the office and may be based at any Industrial office nationwide. Travel up to 10% may be required; PMP/CCM/DBIA certification preferred; a Bachelor's degree is required with 10 years of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 10 years of related experience
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within 12 months of hire)
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; frequency contingent on duties
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Managing and serving as the lead Project Manager on water/wastewater projects
• Providing technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentoring engineering staff to enhance water/wastewater design capabilities
• Being responsible for scope, schedule, budget development, monitoring and adherence for projects managed
• Completing QA/QC of key deliverables and assisting on projects managed by others in the office
• Assisting Client Service Leaders with technical marketing for clients throughout the U.S.
• Participating in professional societies relevant to the industry
• Building and maintaining positive working relationships with key decision makers in our clients’ organizations
