The role leads multidisciplinary teams, manages projects from concept to construction, and partners with public agencies and stakeholders to deliver sustainable, accessible trail solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, civil engineering, planning, environmental design, recreation planning, or related field.
• Professional licensure or certification such as PLA, PE, AICP, PMP, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage trail, greenway, bike/pedestrian, outdoor recreation, and multimodal projects from vision through design and construction.
• Develop context‑sensitive, sustainable trail solutions balancing user experience, environment, and long‑term maintenance.
• Serve as trusted advisor to public agencies, land managers, and community partners.
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, landscape architects, and stakeholders to deliver integrated projects.
• Support business development through client relationships, proposals, and identifying opportunities.
• Mentor junior staff and grow SEH’s capabilities in trail planning and delivery.
