Job summary

CompucomStaffing is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer for a client in Des Moines, IA. The role is hybrid and focuses on maintaining and optimizing a large Windows‑based environment.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in Tier 2/3 production support, strong SCCM/Intune experience, and solid AD administration, with scripting in PowerShell to automate tasks and troubleshoot complex issues.

Qualifications

5-7+ years in a Tier 2/3 production support role troubleshooting Windows 10/11 devices in a large networked environment.
3+ years with MS Configuration Manager and 2+ years with MS Intune.
Proficient in basic Active Directory administration and remote support tooling.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 3 production support for a large environment across desktops, printers and peripherals.
Troubleshoot Windows devices, perform AD administration and light QA testing of updates.
Develop and run simple to intermediate fix scripts and assist vendor technicians.
