Job summary

Community Choice Credit Union in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Microsoft Cloud & Security) to administer and secure our hybrid infrastructure and identity environments. You will lead Windows Server and Microsoft 365 administration, Entra ID/AAD implementations, and endpoint management with Intune.

The role focuses on incident response, operational excellence, and technical leadership while providing guidance without direct people management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Industry certifications preferred (Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, Identity and Access Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+, CISSP).
7+ years of progressive experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, cloud administration, cybersecurity, or related tech disciplines.

Responsibilities

Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, file services).
Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams) and manage licensing.
Lead identity and access management using Entra ID/Azure AD, including SSO, MFA, Conditional Access.
Lead endpoint management with Microsoft Intune and enforce device security and lifecycle management.
Support hybrid identity using AD Connect; oversee backup, recovery, and DR processes.
