Job summary

ConServe in Fairport, New York is seeking a Sr. Debt Counselor to manage delinquent business and consumer accounts using a consultative approach to resolve balances in the client's best interest.

This hybrid role requires onsite work three days per week with two days remote, strong collections experience, excellent communication, detail orientation, and the ability to meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• One year of ConServe collections experience or five years of related debt collection work.
• Ability to work onsite three days per week with remote two days.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure timely repayment of accounts within scope.
• Address collection issues and assist with departmental projects aligned to goals.
• Meet daily, weekly and monthly targets as directed by management.
• Skip-tracing to locate and contact consumers and businesses.
• Maintain accurate records and adherence to policies.
