Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to support a multi-disciplinary design team in power generation. You will lead structural engineering efforts, oversee a team, and coordinate with Nuclear Technical Lead on resource strategy.

The role offers flexibility to work remotely or from various Energy offices across the United States, with a focus on design, analysis, and project leadership in civil/structural projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Excellent communication and project leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Nuclear Technical Lead and Department Manager with strategic resourcing.
• Supervise and lead a team of structural engineers for technical development.
• Serve as Structural Lead/Engineering of Record on projects with deliverables.
• Lead improvements by creating standards/templates and evaluating software.
• Develop task lists with hours and schedules to support business development.
