Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• Professional Registration; S.E. preferred.
• 10 years of related experience in the structural engineering field.

Responsibilities

• Review project scope, budget and design approach with stakeholders.
• Lead mid-size projects, manage production, budget and schedule.
• Stay current with codes; apply them in design and analysis.
• Provide innovative design solutions and engineering judgment.
• Analyze structural framing systems and perform calculations.
• Conduct site measurements to verify conditions.
• Review existing structures and determine needed reinforcements.
• Prepare construction documents including drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with disciplines for well-coordinated documents.
• Lead and assign tasks to a team while monitoring budget.
• Communicate scope changes to leadership and PM.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Use structural software to enhance productivity and verify results.
