Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, seeks a Staff Accountant to join the finance team in a hybrid role based out of Irving, TX. You will report to the VP of Finance and perform general accounting tasks to support month-end close and internal controls.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and experience with accounting software/ERP; cost and inventory accounting are preferred. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems; strong Excel and Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Record monthly and standard journal entries to the general ledger.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end close.
• Perform account analysis and reconciliations for balance sheet and expense G/L accounts.
• Provide financial analysis to Controller and management.
• Support operating plants, AP and AR functions as requested.
• Run daily and month-end reports for management.
