Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This role reports to the Assistant Controller. The Staff Accountant will support the Finance Department by performing multiple general accounting and controls functions.

The position is a hybrid role based out of our North Salt Lake, UT site or Phoenix, AZ site. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and strong Excel/ERP skills to perform journal entries, month-end close, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of accounting/ERP software and Excel/Word.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Record monthly and standard journal entries to the general ledger.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end closings.
• Perform account analysis and reconciliation for balance sheet and expense G/L.
• Provide financial analysis to Controller and management.
• Support operating plants, AP and AR functions as requested.
• Run daily and month-end reports for management.
• Assist with audits and maintain internal controls.
• Other duties as assigned.
