Job summary

Ingram Micro Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Irvine, CA to design, develop, and deliver enterprise applications using C#/.NET Core, React.js, and microservices.

You will collaborate with global teams to implement scalable solutions and deliver production-ready features in a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote). The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in enterprise development, strong problem-solving skills, and deep knowledge of REST APIs, databases, and CI/CD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or relevant science and math disciplines with an IT emphasis is required.
• 5+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on experience in enterprise application development.
• Strong hands-on expertise in C# / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
• Good experience developing Microservices and REST APIs.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with API integration and distributed application development.
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C# / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
• Develop and maintain scalable Microservices and REST APIs.
• Build responsive and maintainable user interfaces using React.js.
• Implement integrations with internal and external systems using appropriate API and messaging patterns.
• Translate technical requirements and solution designs into high-quality, production‑ready code.
• Participate in technical design discussions and provide inputs on implementation approaches.
• Develop reusable, maintainable, and well‑tested components following established coding standards and design patterns.
• Perform code reviews, identify potential issues, and contribute to improving code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Write unit and integration tests and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Work closely with QA, DevOps, Product, and other engineering teams to deliver features on schedule.
• Identify technical risks and dependencies related to assigned work and proactively communicate them to the Technical Lead.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, tools, and processes.
• Support application deployment, monitoring, and production troubleshooting when required.
