Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Senior Manager of SEC & External Reporting for a hybrid role. Lead SEC filings, quarterly earnings prep, and ESG reporting with Controllership, FP&A, Investor Relations, and Legal collaboration.

The position requires CPA, 5+ years in accounting, SEC/GAAP expertise, and XBRL familiarity, with a hybrid schedule and potential travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SEC and U.S. GAAP reporting requirements.
• Experience preparing SEC filings and external reporting.
• CPA certification and public accounting exposure are preferred.
• Familiarity with XBRL and relevant regulatory filings.
• Ability to drive data collection across locations and teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate SEC filings, including Form 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.
• Review quarterly earnings materials and press releases.
• Coordinate with external auditors (PwC) on reporting.
• Lead ESG reporting and global accounting policy development.
• Ensure SOX internal controls compliance for external reporting.
• Analyze monthly results and resolve complex accounting issues.
• Support acquisitions and divestitures with pro forma statements.
