Job summary

Mimecast, a leading cybersecurity company, seeks a Senior Analyst – Revenue Accounting Operations to serve as SME on order-to-cash, contract review, and revenue recognition for our SaaS business in North America.

You will partner with Finance, Sales and Service Delivery to ensure orders and contracts are accurately reflected in NetSuite and Salesforce, support month-end and audits, and mentor junior analysts while driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Revenue Accounting Operations, Order Management, or related role.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606.
• NetSuite and Salesforce experience.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and lookups.
• Experience supporting SOX compliance or audits.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic business partner to Sales to facilitate accurate order approvals.
• Review order-related documentation for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Perform revenue close activities and support reconciliations and reporting.
• Lead cross-functional issue resolution with Sales, Deal Desk, and Service Delivery.
• Manage workload across NetSuite and Salesforce.
• Contribute to process and control improvements for the revenue cycle.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and walkthroughs.
• Address Accounts Receivable inquiries regarding invoices and billing.
• Help maintain policy documentation for revenue and order management.
