Job summary

Infinite Global, an international PR and communications firm, seeks a Research Manager with 5–7 years in research, analytics, or communications measurement to lead daily operations and deliver client insights.

You'll supervise a Research Analyst, develop measurement frameworks, support new business, and drive original thought leadership using Python, AI, and data tools in a hybrid New York office.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in research, analytics, or communications measurement.
• PR agency experience required; B2B agency experience strongly preferred.
• Experience measuring the business impact of communications programs.
• Strong Python, data analysis, and Excel skills.
• Experience mentoring or managing junior researchers.
• Experience with media monitoring and social listening.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily research operations, prioritize requests, establish workflows, and oversee research quality, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Lead client reporting and develop measurement frameworks, KPIs, and analytics capabilities that demonstrate the business impact of communications programs and support business growth.
• Conduct competitive intelligence and prospect research to support new business proposals, RFPs, client pitches, and strategic recommendations.
• Lead original research and thought leadership initiatives, including surveys, secondary research, and large dataset analysis, translating findings into actionable client insights.
• Oversee media monitoring, social listening, and real-time crisis tracking, including reporting and escalation of important developments.
• Manage research platforms and databases, leveraging Python, generative AI, and automation tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting.
• Manage and mentor the Research Analyst, supporting professional development, team collaboration, and consistent performance standards.
