Job summary

FleishmanHillard is seeking a Research Director to join our True Global Intelligence Team in our San Francisco office. The role focuses on leading analytics, client management, and translating performance data into strategic recommendations across earned and social media channels.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in research, expertise with media measurement, and strong project management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience across a broad range of research categories and models; client-service experience preferred.
• Experience in media measurement including earned/owned/paid; earned preferred.
• Expertise with media data collection tools (Talkwalker, Brandwatch, Cision, Signal AI); Google Analytics a plus.
• Strong project management skills; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of integrated research and analytics assignments; build strong client relationships.
• Advise clients and senior decision-makers with strategic recommendations from research findings.
• Lead research design and data collection aligned with objectives.
• Ensure processes are followed; maintain documentation to deliver high-quality results.
• Own project execution and escalate issues affecting timeline or data quality.
• Counsel junior staff and oversee deliverables; provide professional development opportunities.
• Assist with scopes of work, budgets, and staffing with team leads.
• Present findings to clients and translate data into strategic recommendations.
• Counsel clients on measurement best practices and KPI benchmarks.
