GFT in Fairfax, Virginia seeks a Senior Project Manager, Water to join our Water/Wastewater Team. This hybrid role requires regular attendance at the Fairfax office. You will lead engineering for water/wastewater utility projects, mentor engineers, and drive business development while coordinating with clients and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.

• 15+ years' experience managing substantial water and wastewater projects from conception to completion.
• Proven ability to lead project teams and manage client relationships.
• Demonstrated strong project management skills across budgets, schedules, and scope.
• Active involvement in professional associations and communities is expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals, budgets, and client agreements.
• Lead design and technical aspects of projects including calculations, reports, permitting and presentations.
• Write responses to RFQs/solicitations and maintain client communications.
• Coordinate tasks, budgets, and schedules across teams and stakeholders.
• Oversee construction phases to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Mentor staff and develop other project managers.
