Job summary

Amgen in Orange County, CA seeks a Senior Oncology Specialist to be the primary clinical liaison to medical professionals, delivering up-to-date knowledge of Amgen oncology medicines and communicating their clinical and economic benefits.

You will craft and execute a territory plan, manage accounts, address access and reimbursement issues, and contribute to a robust portfolio while advancing patient care in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of sales and/or clinical healthcare experience.
• Associate degree with 6 years of sales and/or clinical healthcare experience.
• High school diploma with 8 years of sales and/or clinical healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute a comprehensive territory plan to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Utilize internal and external relationships to service accounts and resolve reimbursement issues.
• Develop and deliver a marketing strategy to drive product adoption and criteria-based access.
• Analyze territory performance and adjust plans with the District Manager to optimize results.
• Maintain brand integrity and passion for Amgen products throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and foster continuous learning.
• Leverage oncology disease-state knowledge to deliver value to healthcare professionals.
