Job summary

Everfox is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Salt Lake City for a hybrid role (on-site 2–3 days/week). You will design and maintain scalable network infrastructure across data centers and cloud, with emphasis on security, performance, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in enterprise network engineering.
• Expertise with firewall configuration and troubleshooting.
• Strong background in datacenter switching and network segmentation.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP networking (VPCs, VPNs, routing).
• Solid knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN, VXLAN, IPsec, DNS.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage complex Layer 2/3 topologies in hybrid environments.
• Administer and troubleshoot enterprise firewall solutions with focus on security.
• Collaborate with security, systems, and DevOps teams to support mission‑critical apps.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and config management.
• Lead root-cause analysis of network issues and outages.
• Contribute to runbooks, diagrams, and documentation for operations.
• Support compliance through secure architecture and audits.
