Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support refinery, petrochemical, and industrial capital projects in the Pacific Northwest from Ferndale, WA. You will lead mechanical design, provide technical oversight, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams through scope development to construction support.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in mechanical engineering, strong knowledge of codes (ASME B31.1/31.3, NBIC, API) and proven leadership in EPC environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of mechanical engineering experience in refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industrial facilities.
• Experience leading engineering deliverables in EPC environments.
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31.1/B31.3, NBIC, API standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering activities for refinery and industrial projects.
• Provide technical leadership for piping, fixed equipment, and mechanical systems.
• Review calculations, analyses, and design documentation.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards.
