Job summary

The role interfaces with investigators, compliance, and sponsors to ensure timely, compliant research agreements and robust internal controls. The ideal candidate has a strong background in research administration, contract management, and analytics, with excellent communication and leadership skills to drive improvements

Responsibilities

• Leads a team responsible for drafting, reviewing, analyzing, and negotiating outbound subaward terms and conditions.
• Interacts with researchers, compliance offices, and sponsor representatives to ensure efficient initiation and processing of research agreements.
• Maintains knowledge of applicable regulations and policies (OMB, NIH, etc.).
• Leverages dashboards to monitor team performance and meet SLAs.
• Provides status updates and metrics to senior management.
• Oversees, trains, and mentors staff; partners with departments to ensure transparent research administration processes.
• Establishes and assesses internal controls and policy compliance.
