Job summary

The University of Florida seeks a Research Administration Manager to oversee comprehensive pre- and post-award research administration across a diverse awards portfolio. You will drive lifecycle management, budgeting, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with UFIRST, DSP, and IFAS stakeholders to ensure timely deliverables.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree with four years of grant/contract administration experience; an advanced degree is preferred.

• Advanced degree preferred and relevant certifications may be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide lifecycle pre- & post-award research administration to a complex portfolio of awards.
• Manage award setup, budgeting, cost transfers, and post-award reporting in UFIRST and related systems.
• Review proposals, subawards, and amendments; ensure compliance with sponsor, UF, and IFAS guidelines.
• Coordinate with program leadership and DSP/IFAS SPA to ensure timely submissions and accurate reporting.
