Job summary

Clarivate seeks a Senior Counsel-M&A to join our Legal team. Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, Strategic Transactions & Technology, the role will support complex corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and financing, across North America.

The position is hybrid, based in a Clarivate office. The successful candidate will have a JD, active bar admission, and 5+ years of multinational M&A experience, including at least 3 years at a large North American law

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active bar license in good standing.
• 5+ years of multinational M&A experience, including at least 3 years at a large North American law firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead legal support for Clarivate’s corporate transactions, including review/negotiation of deal documents and structuring deals.
• Lead various general corporate projects and due diligence coordination.
• Review and negotiate complex commercial agreements as needed.
• Identify ongoing training and development needs and pursue continuous career growth.
• Some travel may be required.
