Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Senior Manager, Logistics to lead the logistics team, manage transportation, warehousing, and inventory controls across U.S. renewable construction projects, and drive continuous improvement in cost and service delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive logistics experience, and collaboration with procurement, engineering, and project teams. The position is office-based with hybrid work and travel up to 30% across sites.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Business Administration/Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Engineering, but will substitute experience for degree
• Minimum of 12+ years of experience with 7+ years logistics-oriented experience
• Experience managing teams of logisticians and strong leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Logistics Managers and Associates across multiple projects
• Oversee project-level logistics strategies aligned with goals
• Serve as escalation point for logistics issues and delivery conflicts
• Partner with Procurement, Construction, and Engineering to align resources
• Coach, review performance, and develop logistics staff
• Identify and drive improvements in systems/tools used by logistics teams
• Lead cross-project logistics coordination with suppliers and field sites
• Support contract negotiation strategies with key logistics vendors
• Develop risk management processes for materials management and delivery
• Coordinate cross-functional logistics including timing, vendor performance, QA/QC, and warehousing
• Mentor staff and champion standardization and efficiency initiatives
• Drive process improvements within logistics function
