Job summary

American Modern Insurance Group, a Munich Re company, is seeking an experienced Liability Claims Adjuster to manage moderate to complex bodily injury and liability claims. You will evaluate coverage, liability, and damages, and negotiate settlements with individuals, attorneys, and carriers.

Opportunities exist for multiple levels (Adjuster III, Senior Adjuster, Claim Specialist I/II) based on experience. You'll interact with insureds, witnesses, and third parties, while building advanced

Qualifications

• Three or more years managing Liability Bodily Injury claims, with a track record of handling complex/severe claims.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven research and investigative skills.
• Experience using claims systems, digital documentation tools, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Interpret coverage, conduct investigations, and interview insureds, witnesses, and 3rd party claimants.
• Negotiate settlements with individuals, other carriers and/or attorneys, and process loss settlements.
• Complete reports reflecting all file activity.
• Identify and address regulatory, contractual, and internal compliance requirements.
