Job summary

• 10 years of SQL database experience required.
• 8 years sustaining and developing large applications in a team environment.
• 5 years Linux experience required.
• 8 years Atlassian tool suite, especially JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coding, testing, and debugging of programs per requirements and oversee test data preparation.
• Develop flowcharts and diagrams for systems and processes.
• Prepare instructions for production runs and end-user documentation.
• Lead research and analysis for project proposals, software and systems modifications.
• Analyze proposed applications and evaluate database schemas; write and run SQL, deploy packages/triggers; revise programs for efficiency.
• Troubleshoot by analyzing logs, system messages, memory use, and I/O; coordinate work across staff.
• Confer with staff to schedule work and coordinate programming projects.
• Prepare detailed analyses, plans, diagrams, and verification procedures for existing and proposed applications.
• Develop standards and procedures for programming staff and interfaces/reports.
• Develop and implement specialized programs to enhance systems software.
