Job summary

Vertex is seeking a strategic Senior Marketing Manager, US Kidney, to lead HCP marketing execution for Povetacicept as Vertex advances its IgA nephropathy and B cell-mediated disease programs. The role focuses on developing and delivering compliant messaging, materials, and tactics across channels, reporting to the Head of HCP Pove Marketing for the US Kidney unit, based in Boston, MA.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in pharma marketing, MBA/MPH/PharmD preferred, and experience with specialty

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical marketing or closely related field(s) such as pharma sales or ad agency.
• Ability to translate scientific/clinical insights into compliant HCP messaging and materials.
• Strong ownership and accountability for projects with ability to escalate issues to management.

Responsibilities

• Develops and updates marketing materials aligned with strategy and business objectives (websites, visual aids, brochures).
• Translate scientific insights into compelling, compliant HCP messaging and materials.
• Analyze metrics for digital and print material usage and plan updates across brands.
• Manage agency partners to maintain budget and timely deliverables.
• Collaborate with brand leaders to measure impact of tactics in the field.
• Drive assets through internal Communications Review Committee process.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with field, Medical Affairs, Patient Marketing, and disease education teams.
