Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a Senior Front-End Software Engineer to develop and maintain client-side web applications, focusing on UI/UX with JavaScript, CSS, React, Next.js, and Playwright. This hybrid role requires onsite work four days a week (Mon–Thu) and opportunities to apply AI concepts and Copilot tooling to deliver user-friendly, accessible experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 6+ years of IT experience.
• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Practical experience in two coding languages or advanced practical experience in one coding language.
• 4+ years of experience with Next.js.
• 4+ years of experience with Playwright.
• 4+ years of experience with React.
• Strong skills in JavaScript.
• Strong skills in CSS.
• At least 6 months of AI Copilot usage.
• Solid understanding of basic AI concepts and how AI is applied in software development.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their use cases, pain points, and requirements while advocating for user-centric software solutions.
• Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering solutions using various tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies.
• Follow architecture guidelines to maintain a unified and coherent approach to development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, back-end developers, and architects.
• Create mock-ups and prototypes to visualize new features and participate in user interface design reviews and product demonstrations.
• Perform functional automated testing and UI testing to ensure quality development.
• Continuously improve application performance by fixing bugs, optimizing the application, and implementing new technologies to improve development efficiency.
• Apply programming practices such as cross-browser compatibility testing, SEO principles, and accessibility standards.
• Design, develop, and deliver user-friendly, interactive experiences using enterprise brand standards and templates for a consistent user experience.
• Develop front-end applications using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Next.js, and React-based frameworks.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in user interface design.
