Job summary

This hybrid role requires a PE license in MA or ability to obtain reciprocity and is based in the Boston area.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering required.
- 7+ years fire protection experience in MEP/building systems.
- PE license in Massachusetts or reciprocity ability.
- Proficient with NFPA codes relevant to life safety and data centers.
- Strong Revit, AutoCAD and hydraulic calculation tool skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead fire protection design on mission critical, healthcare and life sciences projects.
- Oversee fire suppression, detection, and life safety system design from concept to CA.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural teams.
- Review, stamp docs, and perform hydraulic calculations.
- Mentor junior/mid-level engineers and present to owners and AHJs.
