Job summary

Carolina PRG partners with a company planning rapid expansion to hire a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst. You will work with leadership on financial reporting, consolidations, and process improvement, building cross-functional relationships across accounting and finance.

The role offers a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office per week and opportunities to grow as the business expands. Ideal candidates have strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and SOX experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in public accounting or finance roles in global, publicly-listed companies subject to SOX 404.
• BS Degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA preferred.
• Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and project management abilities.
• Ability to foster teamwork and build collaborative relationships.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and regulatory reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare internal and external financial statements and supporting workpapers in alignment with disclosure requirements.
• Support monthly close with consolidation analysis and reporting.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial review packages.
• Record, prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations.
• Utilize financial reporting and consolidation tools to improve processes.
• Ensure internal controls over financial reporting and consolidation are applied.
• Coordinate inputs for external financial statements and analyze information for accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Support audits and respond to auditor requests.
• Lead process improvements in global record-to-report and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to gain required financial information and implement reporting enhancements.
