Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Charlotte, NC. This hybrid role combines MF work-from-home with Tue-Thu office days, 8:00am-5:00pm, supporting monthly closings, forecasting, and financial analysis.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with at least two years in Finance/Accounting, and prior exposure to GAAP/SOX. The position offers a salary range of $86,000–$126,000 with eligibility for a variable incentive program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in Finance/Accounting
• No relocation benefit; candidates must reside within the Charlotte, NC area (50-mile radius)
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or related work authorization requirements

Responsibilities

• Support monthly closing and rolling forecast processes; perform accounting statement prep, financial planning, and capital budgeting tasks.
• Analyze operational and financial data; investigate variances and drivers; provide variance commentary to management.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations in alignment with GAAP, SOX, and policies.
• Analyze financial data; present summarized results and recommendations to management; partner with plant managers on site income statements.
• Manage and compile quarterly inventory data using AS400 & MAPICS; prepare inventory count summaries and cost revaluations.
• Complete year-end financial and tax reporting; support annual profit plan creation and presentations to the division.
• Drive process improvements in financial processes via tools, automation, and standardization.
• Reconcile and account for capital spending per Financial Policy H-5.
• Perform other duties as assigned
