• Hybrid/contract role based in Maple Grove, MN.
• 510+ years of experience in financial analysis.
• Hands-on experience with billing analysis and invoicing.
• Proficiency in journal entries and month-end close activities.
• Experience with regulatory filings and true-up calculations.
• Budgeting and financial reporting in corporate or utility environment.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and SUMIF.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post accurate monthly journal entries in support of the financial close process.
• Create, review, and send monthly customer invoices, ensuring data accuracy.
• Analyze monthly operating results and prepare variance explanations for leadership.
• Assist with regulatory and contractual true-up calculations with supporting schedules.
• Support audit requests with detailed financial schedules and documentation.
• Respond to financial inquiries from internal stakeholders.
• Participate in special projects related to accounting and financial systems.
• Collaborate with finance colleagues on billing, month-end close, and reporting.
