Job summary

The Haskell Company in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer with at least 8 years of experience and a valid Professional Engineer license. You will lead design efforts across healthcare, industrial, infrastructure, and manufacturing projects, coordinating with clients and internal teams.

You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure on-time project delivery while supporting professional development and mentoring of junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer required.
• 8+ years experience within the electrical engineering discipline and project experience on a variety of projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver designs on assigned projects including coordination, client communication and construction administration.
• Supervise staff assigned to the project and ensure optimal staff utilization.
• Develop project design budgets and advise on additional design fees when scope expands.
• Prepare design estimates for assigned projects and oversee design package issues.
• Oversee construction administration activities including field orders, RFIs and shop drawing reviews.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to staff and lead the electrical team.
