Captivation Software in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and scale our infrastructure. You will work in a hybrid environment, deploying in AWS, automating pipelines, and ensuring high availability.

The ideal candidate has deep Linux expertise, experience with Terraform, Ansible, and configuration management, and the ability to code in Python or Go. You will collaborate across teams to protect national security missions.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in DevOps or software development with a related degree, or 7y with a Master's.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting background.
• Proficient with Terraform, Ansible or Puppet, and AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of infrastructure in AWS.
• Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability.
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and resolve issues.
• Continuously improve processes and tools for high availability and performance.
• Stay current with new technologies and industry trends.
