Job summary

Captivation is seeking a highly motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Maryland. The selected candidate will aid in implementing and automating infrastructure in AWS, ensuring reliability and performance across services.

The role requires strong skills in Linux systems administration, AWS, and configuration management tools. This full-time position is hybrid, with an average of 2-3 days onsite in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in DevOps Engineering or Software Development, or 7 years with Masters, or equivalently 13 years with High School diploma.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and AWS services.
• Must have DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications (i.e. Security+).

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of infrastructure in AWS.
• Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability of services.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate applications.
