Placements24 is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join a highly analytical team. The role focuses on extracting insights from complex datasets, developing predictive models, and driving data-informed decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in data science with emphasis on statistical modeling and machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python or R and data manipulation libraries (Pandas, NumPy).
• Expertise in ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and SQL. Experience with Spark/Hadoop and cloud platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced statistical models and ML algorithms to solve business problems.
• Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Design and conduct A/B tests and experiments to validate hypotheses and measure impact.
• Build and deploy predictive models into production environments.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing to integrate data insights into strategies.
• Communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
