The contract role is hybrid with 2 days onsite per week and runs through November 2027. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in data analysis, data lineage and cataloging, data policy development, SQL, and data warehousing to shape governance policies, standards, and processes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data governance and business analysis.
• Proficient with SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with data lineage and metadata management.
• Enterprise data management experience.
• Public-sector or regulated environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze enterprise data management processes and identify governance gaps.
• Develop data governance policies, standards, procedures, and operational workflows.
• Lead requirements elicitation and cross-functional stakeholder discussions.
• Support data lineage, metadata management, and data cataloging initiatives.
• Develop process maps, SOPs, business requirements, and RACI matrices.
• Support data quality, data stewardship, and data ownership initiatives.
• Work with SQL, relational databases, and enterprise data warehouses.
• Facilitate data access governance, data sharing, and enterprise data management initiatives.
• Coordinate with business and technical teams to implement sustainable governance practices.
