Job summary

TransUnion in Chicago is seeking a Senior Data Analyst who will report to the Senior Manager of Data Science & Analytics. You will help develop IP Geolocation technology by leveraging IP network topology and collaborating with Data Analytics Team, Engineers and Data Scientists.

This hybrid role involves both virtual work and in‑person collaboration at a TU office for at least two days a week, focusing on automating algorithms, querying and transforming large datasets, and delivering actionable

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data science experience.
• Proven experience with SQL, R, Python, MongoDB and BigQuery.
• Ability to translate technical terminology for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience leading data science initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement automation algorithm improvements.
• Utilize tools to query, extract and transform large datasets using SQL, R, Python, MongoDB and BigQuery.
• Provide analytic insights to large data sets that can help impact the quality of our data.
• Leverage problem-solving skills and work through complex problems with various stakeholders.
