Job summary

Florida Blue is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager to direct complex, multi‑team initiatives in the Cybersecurity organization. You will own scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer expectations, ensuring delivery on time and within approved charters.

You will craft and validate detailed project plans, track milestones, manage risks and dependencies, and lead project meetings. Communicate status to stakeholders and leadership, mentor junior PMs, and help create sound business

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT and/or Cybersecurity Project Management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or related equivalent work experience in IT.
• PMI, GSEC, Security+ or PMP credentials preferred.
• Knowledge of information security frameworks, standards and controls.
• Ability to manage tasks independently and communicate clearly.
• Adaptability to a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects with internal/external dependencies, with moderate to large scope.
• Identify and resolve cost variances and manage project finances.
• Develop, validate, and approve detailed project plans.
• Participate in change initiatives and BRM workgroups.
• Track milestones and manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Communicate project status to teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Lead project meetings and mentor junior PMs when needed.
• Create and maintain business cases for projects.
